Will I Need a Permit?

There are certain situations where you will need a permit for your skip in East Sussex. If you intend to place a skip on the public highway in East Sussex, you must obtain a skip permit from your local authority, but don’t worry – Greenacre can manage this process for you.

When placing your skip on a public road or a controlled parking zone you may require a parking suspension to be put in place allowing this space to be reserved for your skip when it arrives.

If you have your own land to place the skip on, a permit will not be required. 

If you are wanting to declutter and don't have room for a skip, a man with a van could be a better option for you.
